Thank you for registering with Sustainable Learning.  As a registered user you will be able to view all the registered schools in your authority and see:
• sample certificates
• how schools are progressing towards these certificates
• the tasks that the schools are asked to perform as part of the programme.
Your schools can also download an initial energy rating certificate in the EU Directive DEC style.  This is not a compliant certificate, but gives them an indication of their current rating.
You will then also be able to see how your schools are performing against this rating.

As a Local Authority you have an important role in supporting schools with energy and water management. But you may not have the resource or authority from the schools to get as involved as perhaps you would like. This site can help by providing schools with the information and skills they need to manage their utilities better.

There are three levels of certification within the scheme, the first is self assessed based on a school achieving "getting started" in each of the six areas of the scheme. The other two levels of award are available through an application process, and evidence will need to be submitted. Helping schools to understand the evidence that is required, and providing an objective opinion on their progress to date could prove invaluable.
