Sustainable Learning will help your school improve the management of its energy and water. The scheme breaks effective management down into a number of smaller tasks which should reflect other activities taking place within your school.
All schools can save energy and water by improving their management procedures, but those schools that fully engage the whole school community are usually more successful, make greater savings and maintain the momentum for longer.
Completing each task moves your school towards national accreditation backed by the Department for Education (England and Northern Ireland), enhancing your profile whilst improving your overall sustainability.
Now that you are registered you will be able to work through these tasks, receive certificates for your efforts, communicate with other registered schools and access further information and resources.
